How do I update my account?

To update your account:

  • Click on Edit
  • If you have a profile on Blogger, LinkedIn, MySpace, etc., enter a link to it in Profile link
  • If you have a picture of yourself on Flickr, Zooomr, etc., enter a link to it in Image link
  • Click on Update to save the changes

How do I add a treasure?

To add a treasure:

  • Click on Add
  • Name: Enter a name for the treasure, e.g. the brand, model name, color.
  • Info link: Enter a link to a site with additional information, e.g. a shopping or review site. Go to the site and copy the address from your browser's address bar.
  • Image link: Enter a link to a photo of the treasure. You can either use a photo from a shopping site, or from your Flickr, Zooomr, etc. site.
  • Tags: Enter words that describe your treasure (e.g. electronics, fun). To combine two words, use an underscore (e.g. ipod_accessories).
  • Click on Add

How do I edit a treasure?

To edit a treasure:

  • Double-click on the treasure's image
  • Make your changes
  • Click on Update to save the changes

How do I delete a treasure?

To delete a treasure:

  • Double-click on the treasure's image
  • Click on Delete

The treasure will now be at the bottom of the list, highlighted in red. The treasure stays in your list for one hour, in case you want to bring it back (i.e. restore it).

As long as the treasure is marked as deleted, it will not show up on your widget or in your feed.

How do I restore a treasure?

If you've deleted a treasure, it stays in your list of treasures for one hour. After that, it is removed permanently and cannot be restored.

If the treasure is still in your list of treasures:

  • Double-click on the treasure's image
  • Click on Restore

What are tags?

Tags are words you can enter to organize your treasures (e.g. electronics, books, shoes).

A list of all your tags is displayed on the left-hand side of the screen. You can click on a tag to show only treasures that are labeled with that tag. If you want to create a widget out of just that tag, go ahead and click on Widget. The code that is created will only include the treasures that you have tagged with that word.

How do I rename a tag?

To rename a tag:

  • Click on the tag on the left-hand side of the screen
  • Click on Edit
  • Change the tag name
  • Click on Update

How do I delete a tag?

To delete a tag:

  • Click on the tag on the left-hand side of the screen
  • Click on Edit
  • Erase the tag name
  • Click on Update

I want to put a XYZ in my Treasurelicious list. Is that ok?

We designed Treasurelicious to be flexible. If you treasure something, feel free to put it in your list.

How does the "Who's Hot" list on the front page work?

People are listed by how many other people are looking at their treasures. So, the more views you have, the higher you go. The list is re-set every Sunday.

Can I use Treasurelicious as a wish list?

Yes, just tag the treasure as "wish_list" or something else that will make it obvious that you would like it as a gift.

Can people leave comments about my treasures?

Yes, people that use Twitter may tweet comments about your treasures by clicking on the "t" symbol that pops up next to your treasures when they are moused over. Make sure you add your twitter name into your Treasurelicious profile, so that if people comment on your treasures, the message will be directly @'ed to you.
