For WordPress
Hosted by wordpress.com
wordpress.com does not allow <script> tags within its "Text" WP widget. As a result, you cannot embed the Treasurelicious widget into your blog.
You can, however, use an "RSS" WP widget to display a feed of your treasures.
- Log into Treasurelicious
- Copy the "Feed" URL (Put your mouse over the orange "RSS" feed icon and the URL will display in the bottom of your browser)
- Log on to your wordpress.com blog
- Click on "Design" then on "Widgets"
- Add a new "RSS" widget
- Paste the URL into the "RSS" WP widget
- Click on "Change"
Hosted on your own
By default, an installation obtained from wordpress.org allows <script> tags to be included in the "Text" WP widget.
- Add a "Text" WP widget to your blog
- Log into Treasurelicious
- Copy the "Widget" code (JavaScript) into the "Text" WP widget
Plugin
We have created a plugin for WordPress, which creates a Treasurelicious WP widget. The WP widget allows you to enter your Treasurelicious account information through input fields.
This plugin works best on older versions of WP. Please follow instructions above if it does not work for you.
- Deploy the attached treasurelicious.php.txt WP plugin to your WordPress installation
- Save it as treasurelicious.php.
- Activate the WP plugin through the Plugin Manager (When you now access your listing of Widgets, you will see a new WP widget named "Treasurelicious"; move it to your sidebar)
- Configure the WP widget with your information from Treasurelicious
